1. Who you are dealing with
ShopFronts UK is a trading name of S&K Glazing Limited, registered in England and Wales, company number 14088194, VAT GB 481 9808 49, registered office 65 Hembs Crescent, Unit 1, Birmingham B43 5DG. Your contract is with S&K Glazing Limited.
2. Prices on this website
Prices on this site and in the price tool are guides for budgeting. They are not offers. A contract starts only when you accept a written quote or, for repair and emergency visits, when you confirm the visit after we give you the cost.
3. Quotes and payment
Each written quote sets out the work, the price, any deposit, when payment is due and how long the quote stands. If we find something on site that could not be seen at survey, we will agree any change with you before doing it.
4. Repairs and visits
Repair visits are charged. We tell you the cost before we come out. Emergency and out-of-hours work may be charged at a different rate, and we confirm it when you call.
5. If you are a consumer
If you are buying as an individual and not for a business, you normally have 14 days to cancel a contract made away from our premises or at a distance. That right does not apply to goods made to your specification, or to urgent repairs you asked us to visit for, apart from any extra work or goods. If you ask us to start within the 14 days, you may have to pay for work done. Your statutory rights are not affected.
6. Guarantee
We give a 10-year workmanship guarantee from completion. It covers faults caused by how we fitted the work. It does not cover damage, misuse, lack of reasonable maintenance, or changes by others. Products, motors, door gear and sealed units carry their manufacturers' warranties. Full terms are on your quote.
7. Planning and consents
Unless your quote says otherwise, you are responsible for permissions, landlord consent and access. We can prepare drawings and applications, but the decision rests with the authority.
8. Liability
Nothing limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything that cannot be limited by law. For business customers, we are not liable for loss of profit or indirect loss, and our total liability is limited to the contract price.
9. Website content
Images show typical products and styles, not specific completed jobs, and many are computer-generated. Guides are general information, not legal or planning advice.
10. Complaints and law
If something is wrong, tell us at info@shop-fronts.com and we will try to put it right. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and consumers in Scotland or Northern Ireland may also bring claims in their local courts.
