Shopfront repairs in Scotland
If part of your Scotland shopfront has stopped working, send us photos first and we will tell you whether it can be priced without a visit.

Landlords with units in Scotland and across the area can use one contractor for frames, glass, doors, locks and signs rather than booking separate trades. Where a fault on your Scotland frontage cannot be priced from photos, a charged diagnostic visit finds the cause, and you hear that cost beforehand.

How much does it cost in Scotland?
The guide price is £125 to £995 ex VAT for most single repairs. Before booking a repair to a rented unit in Scotland or elsewhere in the area, check your lease, since it may make the landlord responsible for the frontage. Your written quote shows travel, access and any out-of-hours work.

Common questions
Do you cover all of Scotland?
Yes. ShopFronts UK works across Scotland, including Aberdeen, Airdrie, Ayr, Bearsden. Remote areas are by arrangement.
Can my shopfront be repaired or does it need replacing?
Many faults can be repaired without replacing the frontage, provided the frame is sound. If corrosion, rot or repeated damage means a repair would not last, we will say so. A refurbishment or a new shopfront is then priced as a separate job.
Are shopfront repairs guaranteed?
Yes, our workmanship carries a 10-year guarantee. Replacement products such as motors, closers and glass units are covered by the manufacturer's warranty instead. We will tell you which cover applies to your repair when we confirm the price.
Can you provide paperwork for an insurance claim?
Yes, we can provide photos and an itemised invoice for your insurer. Whether a claim is paid is the insurer's decision, and we cannot promise an outcome. Speak to them before work starts if they need to approve the repair or send an assessor.
Do the same rules apply in Scotland?
Rules differ in Scotland, so we confirm what applies to your premises before work starts.
